Absolutely indispensable book on home bread baking. Not only are there easy-to-follow recipes and techniques but the author goes out of his way to make the process a breeze to perform at home without a custom oven and tons of additional equipment. Reinhart also provides the option to go with weight or volume measurements in the recipes which was a relief to me when I first got the book as I was without a kitchen scale at the time.
The breads range from rustic to refined, one day to multi-day, sweet to savory. On top of that he throws in some other varieties of breads such as bread sticks, sticky buns, and incredibly good cinnamon buns.
